We had a great time celebrating The Chinese New Year, the Year of the Rat in our Junior Infants class. We were delighted to be joined by mum, Mandy, who told the children all about the traditions and customs celebrated by her Chinese friends and family. The children made lanterns and masks and everyone wore red which is the colour of hope.
