Admissions Applications for Junior Infants to Sixth Class 2025/26opened on November 18th, 2024. We are still accepting late applications for these classes.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION WITH REGARDS TO OUR AUTISM CLASS 2025-26
If our Autism Class is over subscribed, the school will apply the following selection criteria to students. These will be applied in the order listed below to applications received within the timeline as set out in the school’s annual admission notice for our Autism Class. The child must have a recommendation for the specified category of additional (“special”) educational needs provided for in this class.
Priority Category 1: Students who are eligible for enrolment in 3rd to 6th class.
Priority 1: Applicants who are currently enrolled in the school in mainstream classes who are eligible for enrolment in 3rd to 6th class.
Priority 2: 3rd – 6th class applicants who are siblings of children enrolled in the school at the same time.
Priority 3: 3rd – 6th class applicants who are living in the school planning area as defined by the Department of Education (see Appendix 1)
Priority Category 2 : All other students.
Priority 1: Applicants who are currently enrolled in the school in mainstream classes.
Priority 2: Applicants who are siblings of children enrolled in the school at the same time.
Priority 3: Applicants who are living in the school planning area as defined by the Department of Education (see Appendix 1)
Priority Category 3: All other applicants.

Autism Class – Application and Decision Dates for admission to the 2025/2026 school year
The following are the dates applicable for admission to the school’s autism class which caters for children with Autism:

| The school shall cease accepting applications for admission to the autism class on: | July 29th, 2025 |
| The date by which applicants will be notified of the decision on their application for admission to the autism class: | Aug 19th, 2025 |
| The period within which applicants must confirm acceptance of an offer of admission to the autism class: | 7 days * |
*Failure to accept an offer within the prescribed period above may result in the offer being withdrawn.

Admissions to the 2025/2026 school year for Junior Infants – 6th Class – PART 1
Application and Decision Dates for admission to 2025/26
The following are the dates applicable for admission to Junior Infants
| 1. The school will commence accepting applications for admission on | 18th November 2024 |
| 2. The school shall cease accepting applications for admission at 3pm on | 24th January 2025 |
| 3. The date by which applicants will be notified of the decision on their application is | 7th February 2025 |
| 4. The period within which applicants must confirm acceptance of an offer of admission is | 7 days (1 week) |
Note: applications made after 3pm on the 24th January 2025 will be processed as late applications, the school will consider and issue decisions on late applications in accordance with the school’s admission policy.
Failure of an applicant to accept an offer within the 7 day prescribed period above may result in the offer being withdrawn.
Other Year Groups Application and Decision Dates for admission to 2025/2026 school year.
The following are the dates applicable for admission to other year groups
| 1. The school will commence accepting applications for admission to other year groups on | 20th November 2024 |
| 2. The school shall cease accepting applications for admission to other year groups at 3pm on | 16th May 2025 |
| 3. The date by which applicants will be notified of the decision on their application is | 30th May 2025 |
| 4. The period within which applicants must confirm acceptance of an offer of admission is | 7 days (1 week) |
Note: applications made after 3pm on 16th May 2025, will be processed as late applications, the school will consider and issue decisions on late applications in accordance with the school’s admission policy.
Failure of an applicant to accept an offer within one week of an offer of admission may result in the offer being withdrawn.
